News Briefs : A "Rambo" series? 50 Cent produces series now too? New casting news

... Sylvester Stallone is in talks to join a potential TV series based on his hit movie franchise Rambo. The project, is still in the early stages, but Stallone would work with the show on a creative level and could potentially reprise his iconic role. I don't really want to be the person to say this, but isn't it about time we stopped with the remakes, and the sequels, and the adaptations? Have we seriously run out of all the good ideas already? After the failure of Beverly Hills Cop to get a series order, am not holding my breath on this

... Rashida Jones, who is departing Parks and Recreation midway through Season 6, is developing a dramedy for The CW with her sister, Kidada Jones. The series, titled Ladyballs, revolves around two friends who have been estranged for a while, but are reunited when they realize they've been dating the same guy. So they decide to humiliate him on the internet instead of just argue-singing about it, and when the video goes viral, they make the truly American decision to turn the idea into a business.

... How's this for efficiency? A future episode of the headline-ripping Law & Order: SVU will combine the Trayvon Martin case AND the Paula Deen scandal in a single hour! Cybill Shepherd will play a celebrity chef who shoots a teenager because she thinks he's a rapist.

The series is from executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

SO CRAZY IT MUST BE TRUE NEWS!

... Okay it's not that crazy. But the Belize Tourism Board has offered free Belize vacations to several Breaking Bad cast members in the wake of Saul Goodman using the phrase "send him on a trip to Belize" as a euphemism for murder. And then one Reddit user whipped up that beautiful postcard you see above.
